however, you cant just remove it because your ship has a weight limit. so what i did was made a second one and placed it, (i had to build out a little) then expanded it so it could compensate for the loss of my other balloon. I removed any expansions from the OG balloon i added because it seems it needs to be in its base smallest form to be movable and i relocated it. Then I added the expansions back when I had more helium.
At least I couldn't figure out how.
You will have to place a second baloon, then remove the first one and place it again where you want it.
To do so, you may have to extend the airship first.
How would I remove an entire balloon core? There's no option for that in the build tool.
Oh... OK, I didn't realise it would be that simple :) Since there's an option for un-upgrading a balloon, I figured there'd be a separate option for removing it. Using the generic "deconstruct" option makes sense. Thank you.
