how do i delete ladder room? its not letting me

yes, i removed everything from it and nothing is clipping through or touching the room and i have another means of access to reach the same area in case that was the reason. just says "cannot remove" as if its some all important part of the ship or something

If it is clear and there is nothing in it or hanging from it. It should just be click on the right spot to delete. Is it giving any kind of message??

i have tried i removed things around it and removed the stair room i just put down but no matter when i aim or click it won;t remove it. the only message it gives me is "cannot remove" but no reason as to why. i can make a vid showing it if need be

first is it connecting to other room that once you remove the room would be floating by itself?
check poster it might just slightly attach to the room.
what about on the top is there anything on top of the ladder as the room upper floor is also calculate in.
also dont try to remove the ladder remove the room by target the floor of the room?

Move outside your ship using some catwalks and delete the room and anything else that may be causing the issue. I had the same issue, they seem... twitchy. I would say stay away from them (unless you HAVE to have one) and just use stairs.

i figured out the issue at least for me, the issue is you can'y delete from the ceiling/oping part. i had to delete the wall i had then it selected the ladder room entirely by selecting the bare wall or floor. idky you can't delete it from the ceiling/opening at any point though. i made a vid and can add it later if it will help explain it better.

I love glass ceiling and floor (love to see everything) so when I delete, it gets "tricky" since the "where I delete" may effect this. I did test around with ladder room AND stairs, it is odd. glad you figure it out. I notice since I put down "floor" (glass ceiling/floor) deleting it was a pain since the floor was glass ;) (note, no glass ceiling for ladder room)\

Enjoying the game, I wish there were more sky/ground enemies but a nice chill game, whats the rules for stairs? i can't seem to place it in the spot i could the ladder i need to go outside on the catwalk, on the catwalk yeah.... lol old song. not sure why i can't add it as i would the ladder.

right? i use glass for everything too lol irl it would scare the hell out of me but, at night when sleeping and you can look down or up see the stars if the balloon isn't in the way lol would be amazing to witness and fall asleep 2
