Thorn bee honey consumed

I consumed the 4 horn bee honey items as food before I knew that I need them for research. Do the hives re-spawn at some point or is there more honey in the under dust that doesn't require the hypothermia or do I need to start a new save if I want to progress further?

There are nests at other locations above the dust. Not everywhere, but you should run into one eventually. You could also go to another underdust at a different tower.

Hives are somewhat common on many points of interests, you can find them on your travels at places like gardens or radio towers.

The Underdust itself iirc has like 3 or so red hives around the map that give 3 entire honey per hive, so if you've only used four, you should be able to find some of the red hives down there.

Did this before. Just fly around to new locations, you will find some eventually.

There are a lot of building that randomly spawn those "bees hives" that we can harvest. It is randomly spawn in "rooms" where we can loot "random stuff" ;)
