If I could could i get your specs. Have you verified the gsme and or reinstalled? Is this a new issue or have you been able to play before? Any additional info would be great so I may try to assist you.

Did you also try to verify and or reinstall the game? Does it persist thru a save and reload? Did it just start out of nowhere or did something update? Apologies for all the questions. Trying to narrow down what it might be or to see if I should have you make a bug ticket.
it just started after the full release, i check the files, i reinstalled the game, i saved and reload, i reload the game, i made a new research station but it happened on that one as well.

Could I have you make a bug report and send your save file along with it. Here is were the save file is at and the email address. Thanks.

Are you playing a brand new game created in 1.0? Or did you load up a save from the last couple of months when it was still in EA? Might be another useful tidbit for the bughunters at FFH.

Yes, thank you for that. I had thought I ask, but have been answering a lot of questions since release. Looks like I forgot to on this one. :)

it was a save before 1.0, but everytime there's a new update to the story before 1.0 it was working fine

In that case, it would be worth it to start a fresh save and play until you get the research station, and see if you get the same crashes in the fresh game or not.

If you do, then there may be some uncommon bug that your savedata and system configuration info might help them track down and stomp- or point out a potential cause in something external to the game (weird, but possible).

If you don't get those crashes on a fresh game, then it's something about that old savegame you're trying to continue using. It's not from before last November, or from playing the Legacy build for the past 3-4 months, is it?
the last time i played on that saved was early April maybe the tenth was the latest
i started a new save and so far, it works fine. i idk when i been restarting a new save even update to the story

Let me rephrase my previous question- I was a little tired and didn't get it aimed at what I was really after.

How old is this savegame? More specifically, was it started before the update on December 9 of 2024?

no, it was set up i think two months ago

Okay, that eliminates the main thing I was after: seeing if you had somehow inadvertently found a way to play a Legacy era (or earlier) save in the 1.0 engine. You didn't, but if it had been that the bughunters would have wanted all the info they could get, because I don't think that's supposed to even be possible. ;)

Probably something corrupted at least a piece of that savegame, or else your new one started under 1.0 should have crashed the same way. If you've sent the bug info and savegame files to the devs, all that's left now is to wait and see if they find a fix- or just carry on with the brand-new 1.0 save if you weren't too far in on the previous one.
in the one i was playing,i was at the workshop having to research the cutting tool
