Can't find Orange Data Cards

Is this still bugged? I started a new game on release and I've been finding blue data cards everywhere but stopped discovering orange ones awhile ago.

Blue cards are furniture, pink cards are paint. Those both blueprints are ones you find random until you found all.
Blueprints for the airship can be found at certain locations. Which have a laptop with certain blueprints. Each unique type of location will only have 1 laptop though, after getting the research for those blueprints. You won't find another laptop on those locations

Did you figure it out? I can't find any data cards at all. I got 2 from escape pods, but now those stopped bringing data cards. I spent 5 hours searching for one, and I found none.

This is my 2nd save as I restarted from scratch. I'm back at where I was when I restarted, and last game I had a whole bunch of stuff unlocked for my ship. This time around I have nothing unlocked except for the main mission stuff like metal wall and 2 data cards I got from escape pods.

I'm really frustrated now not sure I should restart again and hope it don't bug out or I'm missing something.

Some people say every tower has at least 1 data card, some say it's rare, some say it's bugged. No clue if it's just crappy RNG or it's a bug, or I'm missing something.

I believe they changed them now. You have to find research computers to get some things. At least I haven't seen more than one card from the only drop pod I have encountered. Everything else came from random computers.
