Ship keeps taking damage after hit by lightning

I've been searching for a solution, but can't seem to find any.

My ship got struck by lightning, since then it keeps taking damage over and over no matter how much i repair it.

any suggestions? am i stupid or is this a bug?

Have you tried saving and reloading to see if that helps reset the issue?

Yes, i have also picked up all placeables on the exterior of the ship. metal collectors thrusters etc.

to my knowledge the lightning struck on a metal collector, since it kept sparks kept appearing from it, but picking it up does nothing

If you could please make a bug ticket on this since it persist thru a save and reload.

Okay, done, hope there's a fix for this, really enjoying the game so far.
