So I'm flying around and flying around and hitting walls that weren't there a few days/months ago and getting nowhere quite rapidly.
I can't be bothered anymore.
What started out as a promising fun game when I first bought (sorry - licensed!) it so long ago, has devolved into a ghastly, incomprehensible mess.
I really can't be bothered.
Yet another hollow triumph of the "just throw stuff at it and they'll be satisfied! They don't know any better."
Well some of us do - and we're leaving....

Maybe they don't like playing games.
So they don't know how to make it feel good.

The game literally holds your hand the entire way. If you couldn't figure out what to do it's because you ignored all instructions. That's not a game problem, that's a you problem.
You may well be right. In which case where is the Extractor Module: Organic?
There is nothing in my hand pointing the way.
If you followed the quests, it leads you to the blueprint for it.

We must be playing different games. This version is the best one the devs have put together. You must literally be flying around without taking necessary steps to understand what you need to do next. Nobody can fix that attitude for you. It's on you. Game's amazing as it stands.

If anything, it holds your hand too much. I'd like an option to turn off all the quest updates/markers etc so i can explore unhindered.
Well I tried. Really I did. But I'm going around in circles, unable to get past walls to get to underdust locations to get energy crystals to finish the pointless thing. And despite what some of you claim the game has been of no hand-holding help at all.
Tiresome. Frustrating. Silly. Just really silly.
I say again:
what was at the beginning an interesting, fun, potentially interesting game, isn't anymore.
Such a shame.

Are you running an old save?

IIRC I got the organic module just by scanning the green weakpoints on the wall, but I have no clue how an older save would work on this version. I just researched and printed it in my Suit Printer.

Normally the quests guide you to this, but I have no idea what the quests would be if you didn't restart.

It literaly says directly what it expects you to do.
If your problem is passing the plant wall - you should scan the 3-thing cluster by handheld scaner, and make a module in your inventory crafter.
Maybe yours does, but mine doesn't.
But I'll try the scan thing anyway and hope for the best.
Thank you.

It's not immediately obvious i think.

I had a similar issue on my first trip to the underdust, it said i needed a keycard. I couldnt find it anywhere, so i left thinking i was supposed to get it at another location. Turned out i just had to open my inventory and craft it in my backpack (the mission prompt did say to craft it) as i didn't notice it gave me the blueprint when i checked the computer.

I might have had the same temp issue with the organic wall. You probably already have the blueprint and just need to craft it.

I have no idea what the problem is since you don't explain it properly.
For the most part you can follow clear quest objectives. I think the furthest I had to fly for one objective was 5 minutes. Is this really too much to ask ? Also the main story will tell you how to pass the walls..

Just for further clarification, here's the quest.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3467667183

'Fly to the lift location' has you move towards a '!' on the map, leading to another biome with a giant wall blocking you.

When you get near the wall, it changes to 'Find a weak point in the wall & scan it'

Then you scan it and it shows up in your Research Station like so:

Then you can print it and equip it in its dedicated inventory slot. Still no clue what it'd be like to jump in on a save where you've already made it past this without the walls though.

Thank you for that very extensive explanation. I managed to get past the walls and eventually complete the quests, and the game. Interestingly I never had any messages such as 'find a weak point and scan it'. But as someone suggested trying it, I did, and it worked. So I was finally able to move on.
Personally I thought the ending very disappointing. Kind of limp and uneventful. But at least they made one - which is more than quite a few early access games do. So there it is.
Thanks again for going to such trouble - much appreciated.
