There was a portal game a few years back that released and had a poster about how fossil fuels destroyed the planet and I refunded that one.
If seeing a Ukrainian vase in a game makes your blood boil, then you are a vatnik and you should leave and never come back.
Timberborn added Sunflowers (crop) as a symbol of being on the side of Ukraine. And yes, some vatniks blew a gasket back then too.

They were robbed from their home, because of war.
You're free to think whatever, but this is not about politics at all. It's a bit of compassion towards people who lost their home, gotten separated of friends and/or family. To live in a different country facing problems like communication issues and who knows what.
Interesting word "vatnik" you used to name call people who do not want to see these issues injected into video games, the use of this word is out of context and irrational.
Emotionally name calling tells me your irrational in your thinking and can't handle a simple fact that other people may not think the same way as you do on matters.
Also when you behave like you did in your response instead of rationally talking with people all you do is push people away even more, when you tell people to leave and never come back that means sells for a game, which means profit for the devs to keep the game moving forward and a game like this that's small and not going to make much then you just contribute to helping hurt it more.
That's exactly what I thought about that, too.
Playing a game that's based on such a background whilst complaining about items that one could just see as what they are (a vase, a plate and a poster!) brings the term 'snowflake' to my mind.
Remember:
It's only political if you want to see it as that!
Otherwise it's just items in a game...
I don't find it disturbing! Ultimately, it's up to each individual whether they collect the objects. If so, I find it a bit one-sided to "only" present a statement against the war in Ukraine. After all, there are countless other horrific wars around the world that don't make it into the media as much in industrialized countries. But overall, I find Forever Skies, despite all the criticisms I've expressed about the game so far, to be pleasantly apolitical. There are entirely different cases.
I see what you mean, might I suggest to post a suggestion on their upvote? While devs look at steam forums, it's hard for them to see which suggestions have majority in favor, hence they have their upvote site
