How to do the tutorial in co-op or skip tutorial ?

Each of you has to do the tutorial separately. It's by design, so that each player KNOWS THE BASICS. Otherwise, they'd be struggling later on when they are on an expedition somewhere.

Yeah I know, it's just annoying when there's something where you have 20 minutes at the beginning of a new game that you can't be with your friend. We would have just skipped it.
In this case it was just following the same kind of objectives as the rest of the game. I suppose the only reason you can't do the tutorial in co-op is that little crash animation at the very beginning.

Or because the tutorial is meant for learning, and having two or more players in a tutorial tower would be too crowded to learn how to play the game for the first time.

Skipping the tutorial is possible, but you have to leave the tutorial zone first to make co-op available.

When you wanna start a new game, you have to disable tutorial in order for it to skip it.
