one of three colossal lifeforms gives you 20 crystals for free basically. much better then wrestle with gardening and pipes.

Farming crystals is actually pointless when you visit the underdust areas for crystals.
Even in the new beta you get way more crystals then you can be able to spend them.
I had already 4 stacks from two visits

Hi, I'm having difficulty confirming / understanding your comment. It seems to imply that it is possible to kill the Colossal Lifeforms that roam the open world somehow, and that you can get 20 crystals from them. Or do you mean it differently?

I dont think ive seen any more colossal creatures to try that out, ill fly around some more. Im also kind of stuck near end game cant seem to find a source of crystals to escape

Crystals are available in large volumes in the Underdust. Visit any elevator, craft the card to open it, go down and just pick crystals to your heart's content :-)

No, you can't kill any of those lifeforms. Not gonna spoil things, play the game and you'll eventually find out.

You don't have to interact with the colossal lifeforms -- just land on the wreck of a building with many twisted posts sticking out of top and a circuitous path through some tubes to get to their stash of energy crystals...there is also their cave which has ~20 energy crystals to harvest...
