Surface lift

Well, something went wrong that wasn't supposed to happen in the game, or I'm too stupid to find the resources somewhere else, or I'm just not having any luck! According to the story, I'm supposed to go to the surface lift, but it seems that you can only access it via the extendable ramp that you can build, but for that I need EPXID, which I only found in the starting area in the boxes of the landing capsules that fall from the sky! I think that's supposed to help with getting started, because later on the capsules don't fall down anywhere! And that's exactly my problem, because I used up the EPOXID to make large bottles out of it and I can't make it myself yet because I haven't found and scanned the required resource yet! And I can't find my way back to the starting area, because I was hoping to find the landing capsules that fall from the sky there again! I've been driving around for 8 hours or more now, but I can't find the starting area anymore! Well, and without the EPOXY, there is no ramp, no game progress possible!

Have I played for 35 hours for nothing? I really don't feel like flying around any more, always checking towers on the way in the hope of finding EPOXY in a box!

If anyone knows how I can get EPOXY, I would be very grateful!
Otherwise, I'll uninstall the game and play something else! And I actually had a lot of fun, apart from all the bugs, but it's still the EA version, so you can be lenient! But I don't want to start playing from the beginning again....

If you followed the quest line you should have learned how to make epoxy in Noah's Tower. Once you are past the white flowers and in the tunnels you should have found plants that give resin. Resin is used to make epoxy. So IDK how you got to this point without doing so. They are a brown flower with a dark orange middle that is resin. Scan those flowers. Also after a distance of I think 5 Km the towers reset and new towers appear. So you cannot find an area again. Just find another tower like it. They all repeat.

Those bitey white flowers in Noah's tower...I didn't use anything to get past them. The "outside" alley with the fence and ladder you have to make drop down...I was at the top of the ladder and jumped over the fence where it's folded down.
Was that incorrect?! I'm now up to the infected tower and working on the part with getting in there...so I don't think I've fluffed up too bad anywhere.

Yes, you need to make they hypothermia booster to get past them to the tunnels underneath or I guess you can jump the fence. Never tried that. But those tunnels have the Resin Flowers in them. Need to scan them and if you have empty bottle pick up the resin. Over the fence is a ladder down. That take you to tunnels. But the hypothermia booster is the way most people go. Got to explore more. Sounds like you are just dong the questline.

I haven't even made a hypothermia booster yet as I figured I didn't need to now, and having not met the bitey bois again, I've still not bothered!

I noticed that the towers are the same except for a few small differences, thank you. But so far there hasn't been a tower that I could enter without needing something that I can't make yet! I read that there are 2 towers, one that is overgrown and one that you can enter straight away, unfortunately I've only ever had the overgrown one (around 20 times). Either it's a bug on my part or I'm just really unlucky.

A solution to this is to fly straight in a line till the map resets. Usually this will bring up a fresh set of towers. If you follow the questline you should be able to get into each tower as they open on the story. Yes you have to do some exploring in between. Each step though should open the next.
