Chain Reaction Achievement

Can't seem to get this one. Whats the trick?

Put 2 mines very close to each other and then attract a giant insect on them. When it triggers one, it will trigger the other with the explosion

Put two mines next to each other, shoot one with crossbow

Of course I tried this! EXCEPT it would of helped if I wasn't using a charged arrow! When you posted this I thought I might of had the mines too close together. Tried spacing apart like do i have them too close.
