Medium Backpack not craftable.

I scanned the broken medium backpack three times (first one scanned properly, the other two gave the click). I cannot research it, I cannot find it in any crafting bench and without it I cant ever get a large backpack. Which would make the 5 hours I spent traveling around and trading pointless. Help please?

I had the same problem and I thought I saw other messages that also talk about it. The devs will probably patch this when they get back from holiday

Here is hoping. The messages I saw were mainly about Not being able to equip it and stuff.

Where can I find the medium backpack module? I have been pretty everywhere but cannot seem to find it, any help would be appreciated.

Should be in the upgrade station. make sure your small backpack is empty when you try to craft it.

Medium backpack should be inside a container at the Underdust Suburb. You need the aircutter to get to it.

Then why would you need to scan it if you find it? I mean you have to craft the small one. I would expect you would need to upgrade from small to medium to large. That would make it an inconsistent game mechanic. And I did search the Suburbs but didnt find anything. Thank you for the info anyway.

Edit: Saw the comment above yours. Sadly it isnt in my upgrade bench and I didnt find anything in the Suburbs.
