My 5 cents of feedback here. I really think it would be great if there was a way to give/share resources with other players so they could take them back with them to their game to use on their own ship. I've completed the game at this point a few times, I have an obtuse overflow of resources from upgrade pyramids to viral cure plants to epoxy. Over flowing. I was really looking forward to Co-Op cause I see the bottomless pit of players complaining about not being able to find xyz resource or item or blueprint, I was really looking forward to being this roaming oasis for other players, where they would just 'happen' upon me in the game world and with a casual 'welcome stranger' I could open a bazaar of rare resources and goods. Air knifes and Charged bolts and upgrade token galore! give the player a handful of rare goods to help them on their path to find a cure and send them on their way. Really really wanted to do that. instead I get to have players jump into my game, see I've done everything and then they quit. Because there is nothing to gain from playing with other players.

Can we please get some kind of ability to give stuff to other players to take back to their game world?

That is an interesting idea, but it would totally break progression (which is one of the game's major sources of content), and could potentially lead to a lot of problems with fairness and intention (how do you distinguish between things the host freely gave a visitor, vs items they took on their own initiative that the host might not have wanted to lose?). I don't think it would work with this type of game.

Well when you create storage containers some list in their description they can be accessed by all players and others don't. Just like other survival games I presumed you could put what you wanted to share in containers designed to be accessed by visitors. I understand the progression aspect, I guess for me the content is exploring and growing my collection and designing my ideal ship. These roadblocks that require you to spend hours hunting down epoxy, or a specific biome for blueprints or something really are what cause me to quit playing more often than not, so I didn't view that as the primary mechanic of the game, but I can understand how it might be. Sure would be disappointing for me but, that's early access I guess.
