Report a translation problem
The suit printer is meant to allow you to make certain items before you get the Fabricator / when you are away from the ship. It would be nice if the recipes for the basic resources were also in the fabricator, but I suspect that would confuse some people as well.
I suppose the in-game database could be a bit more user-friendly (although I think it's adequate as it is now), but I don't understand your objection to using a database in general, unless you want all games to just be so simple that you never need specific information about the items and equipment it has. Which I would not support.
The way it is you have to look at a bunch of similar categories and guess which one the thing you're looking for might be in.
That's a full stop for me.
