Upgraded Fabricator

Somehow I managed to miss this on the first lift mission (which I believe where it is but didnt know) so now I'm at the point where I go down with the scientists card. I don't even know which direction the first lift is....is there a way to easier navigate in this game or can I find it elsewhere?

If you look in the Studies menu, it will tell you about any resources and blueprints available at the tower types you have visited so far, and whether you have ever scanned/picked them up yet. Look there to see what you missed, and what tower types it spawns at. Then look in the Locations part of the database to see what the map icon is for that type of tower. Then you just need to fly around until you spot a tower of the right type.

In the case of the Upgrade Station, it spawns in the Underdust at the first type of Lift Tower. Any tower of that type will work, whether it is the specific one you went to before or not doesn't matter. Just look for a map icon that resembles a skyscraper with a hoop on top and a purple triangle below.

Thanks thats a lot of help as I couldn't remember what type it was. Its good to know they spawn at others too. I will try look for one I have visited previously as that should narrow it down.
