Need help finding a fridge.
I have yet to find a fridge and it is getting really annoying. Has anyone seen either of them since the big update? If so, please help. I just need to know which POIs to look for and how to identify them. Info on how to reach them may also be helpful. Thanks.

If it helps at all: I flew around for several hours last time I played looking for a wrecked freezer - they should be at a windfarm variant called a command center I think. I didn't find one after burning through tons of fuel and just gave up on the game - it was a straw that broke the camel's back after using that same time only to fail to find data cards for the build gun for something as mundane as a window wall!
I'll come back to the game some day, but it won't be until I see they've addressed the data cards scarcity and such. RNG shouldn't be this brutal.

The freezer ONLY appears in the Radio Tower type, specifically the tower people have built shelters on but NOT the town, It's the Radio tower icon with the vertical rectangle shape to the left of it on the radar., Probably the rarest of the locations.

The Wiki shows this as the "Communications Hub" icon. You'll need the docking ramp to get it because all locations at the Hub are only accessible using the ramp, usually 3 separate buildings and make sure you pay close attention to demat any metal sheets because they can have hidden rooms under them. You'll know you're in the right place if you find data pads with notes about finding a freezer.

That's the Large Freezer, which is an upgrade so you have to have the regular freezer first. IIRC, the regular freezer is at one of the rarer Wind Farm locations, I forget which one.

Just FYI for everyone. There is a known bug that was in the update notes about this. They are working on the issue of BP's not showing up like they should. Should be one per tower at max and sometime none. Right now it is more towards none I believe. They are aware and working on it. Please read the know bugs in the latest update news for more info.

I was wondering if they would make it an upgrade after the patch. Do you know if those variants show up as question marks on the radar? It seems like many of the other variants now show up as those before you've discovered them.

The question mark indicates a tower type you have not ever visited before; this is the same behavior as always, it has not changed. Not all tower types have associated blueprints, but most of them do, so checking out question marks is a good idea.

The first time I went looking for the fridge, I was told what the symbol looked like on the map. That's how I found it before. I had never been to that type of POI but it wasn't a question mark. So I assumed it was only for certain tower types.

BTW, I did end up finding both fridges. So thanks to everyone that tried to help.

For those looking for the Small Fridge, it's in a Wind variant (blue lights). You can tell it's the right one because it will have a 3 story shelter directly below the landing platform.

I'm not positive but I believe the Large Fridge is in a Radio variant (orange lights) that has two totally separate small towers and each require the Docking Plank to enter. It's probably the most precarious looking POI.

You will find a destroyed freezer at the Command Centre (Wind Farm variant) which you can scan and then build.

This is only related to data pads you pick up for cosmetic ship and friendly bug items. Blueprints where you scan wrecks in the world are still present.
Oh that's right, it's that super tall Wind variant, isn't it? My bad. That one and the one I mentioned were right next to each other in my game.
