Any reason why my game keeps crashing?

Just downloaded the new update. The game launches fine, but as soon as I try to load a save, the game crashes and gives me the Send Error form. Is there a setting or something I need to change to get the game to work?

Something else I should add: uninstalling and reinstalling has to be a LAST resort. My internet speed is 3.2mbps MAX and I'm not dealing with that unless I truly have too.

Same thing happens to me. At first I thought it was just the same problem with mysteriously corrupted saves that this game has had for about a year now, but since it happened immediately after an update, and ALL my saves crash the game instead of just the most recent, I thought I'd check here. This is getting tiresome. How are we supposed to enjoy all this new holiday content if we have to start all over every time? I understand that saves can become incompatible after major changes, but isn't that supposed to be over and done with after that last major update? Besides, as mentioned earlier, save game stability has been a problem since before that major update. People are going to stop playing this game if they lose their progress at the drop of every hat. Instead of flashy new content, the devs should focus on basic stability for a while. This is a mistake a lot of EA titles make.

I had to reinstall my Nvidia game drivers, and that seems to have worked. A simple fix, but annoying nonetheless.

If you started a new save for the Worlds Evolved update, you should not need to start over for the holiday event. Try setting your graphics option in settings to dx11 rather than dx12, and check your graphics drivers. Other than that, you can try setting your graphics quality lower, and manually saving after you complete something important so you have a safe save to come back to.
