Freezing/Crashing on intro cutscene.

Game opens to main menu perfectly fine, but upon trying to start a new game, I load into the intro cutscene, the moment there's a hand placed on the picture and it turns slightly, my entire game locks up (audio continues playing) and I'm forced to use task manager to kill it. Anyone know how to fix this?

Use way lower settings on you startup to get thru cutscene. Then change them once in game. This is what I have heard of people doing that have issue.

It was bad for me too. I think it played the 4k cut scene for me and the game is just playable as is on my PC so when it played that 4k scene my PC gave up on playing the video but kept playing audio.

I am concerned that this could happen with other in-game cinematics as well though...

Probably related to the video card memory leak - overheating issue the latest version has (for AMD maybe NVIDIA cards too), don't know how it (a massive bug such as this) made it through to release, cause the bata had it for 2 patches.

Solution for me was actually to just turn the DX12 down to DX11. Went through perfectly smooth after that

Yeah, same. Switched from DX12 to DX11 and no problems with the cutscene anymore.
