Extractor Module?

What is it for and how to use it?

the extractor module is a upgrade item that fits in a slot in your equipent and when equiped it wil buff to a certain degree the hand held extractor

I have blueprints for two different ones I got from airdrop pods. The one i'm using reduces the number of charges on the extractor but decreases the reload time. So I have 5 charge blocks instead of ten but it charges in like two pulls.

how do i put it in a "slot" i dont see anything or any options. its just sitting in my inventory

Right below your backpack, there are slots for your flashlight/oxygen tank/extractor module.

Here's a photo, it's under suit modules, right there in the middle with a picture of an extractor.

There are currently three available. Two are from the pods that drop from the ARK, the other one is available if you scan the wooden wall's weakpoint, a quest guides you here eventually.
