30 Minutes into game and can't stop yawning.
Is this just 1/4th of No mans sky?
Am I missing something?
Does this feel like a cash grab?

The only thing so far that made me say "wow" was the collapsing of distant structures when you evaporate materials into "bubbles"...

I don't know... A lot of wasted potential.

Scan this, scan that, scan this, fetch that....

I understand I'm looking for a cure, is it to my boredom?

Where are the interactable NPC's? Maybe a gun? Where's the land... Am I stuck on this planet or can I leave...?

This "early access title" should definately be free. Not worth $20 for the first 45 minutes of gameplay.
If you cant stop yawning while playing this game, you might be suffering from a form of epilepsy ... or you're really tired. But yes, this game is definetly more on the "Relaxing" side.

Repetitive assets and environment, lack of creativity, No man's sky/satisfactory/minecraft/rust/conanexiles/ANYSURVIVALCOOPRPG

Tutorial : After you build the ship, that should be THE END OF THE TUTORIAL.

Asking me to scan and find 50 more things after navigating the nauseating (no mantling or climbing, no parkour, instant death on fall) lackluster testing course you call a map is a surefire way to lose interest.

DLC : Charging $10 for 4 in game items and calling it a DLC is criminal. I've seen catalogues worth of 10-20 items included in DLCs for $5...

This doesn't even rival sea of thieves... Imagine actually making this multiplayer with lobby merging and sandboxing rather than a static private procedurally generated map...

Incredible lack of atmospheres/environment variation
Incredible lack of enemy/animation variation
Incredible lack of encounters/NPC/situation variation

Only way I can see myself playing this on my own freewill is if a friend asked me to play it, or I'm beta testing for bugs.
Ok buddy this game is deffinetly not for you. If you played only the full release and decided to post within one day you really have not given it a chance.
This is not a game made by a AA or AAA studio. Its a semi indie. Its is very chill survival builder not an action oriented one. The story is told through pda-s and enviroment not npcs ( much like the original subnautica m8, you know one of the probably greatest survival games ever made which doesnt have a single npc).
The tutorial is finished once you make the airship. The rest is called exploration. You know when you go out to discover what is what and figure out what is used to build what. Likely the core of every survival game. So scannig a lot and reading entries explains the game the story and guides you. Your character isnt a terminator 800 with a super processor in its head that immediately on first glance knows what is what.
This game really doesnt need parkour or complex movement. The game is not a platformer, everything is laid out plain in front of you and if you have two brain cells you can figure out the proper path. God forbid there be a slight navigation puzzle.
Dlcs are okey priced at 5€ a pop or less. One if for a good cause. And its more than 4 cosmetics, and effort has been put in to them from what i have seen in game. Most battle royales charge 20/30€ for a single recolor of certain skins so this argument is totally pointless and invalid.
It isnt meant to rival any of those mentioned games. It is its own thing and does it well, much like Volcanoids. Not to mention that those games have been in development for MORE than 5 years by much bigger studios and were an absolute dumpster fire on release ( satisfactory not included). The devs are not done with the game and are hard at work improving it and said they will continue working on it. So this argument is pointless….yet again.
So if you need insanely big worlds with multiplayer sandbox worlds and parkour while being action packed go play those games or in that genere. No need to hate on a rather decent game; or do you need us to continue systematicaly breaking down your arguments :).

The only thing that makes me sleepy is your comment.

This game is not no mans sky, in no way.
Its a little survival and search game with housing.

1. You like wasted earth games.
2. You like housing on a flying ship
3. You like gathering and find new things for your ship to craft and build
4. You have no problem with copy & paste of stations
5. You like a little exploring through this world
6. You have no problem with a quite dead world (only enemy monsters alive til now)

This game is for you when you can say yes to the answers.
I played round about 50 hours before 1.0 came out and i have fun.
I like the exploring and not all is perfect.
There are several things to improve but its a small studio which did a great job
at the moment and i hope they will do it furthermore.

If you have a problem with small studios, if you are not patient, if you expect a mmo.
Dont play this game and go next.

So for me this game was no cash grab.
I payed round about 19,50 € for over 50 hours and now 1.0 is released and i have
more time to spend, explore, research, craft and more.

I dont know why some cant look videos at youtube to get more knowledge about this game and use google to get more informations.

At last this game is not finished yet so this game has a lot of potential.
Give them time to develop.
Give them feedback what you like or not and see how the devs work.

Game has officially left Early Access yesterday. You can't use this excuse to justify game's shortcomings anymore.

Where are you seeing $10 dlc? I see a dlc for $5 that is the supporter package with decorations, an $3 dlc for the Whale and Dolphin conservation hologram decorations, and a $5 soundtrack dlc.
I've seen games that you pay $20 for a pack of credits to spend on the hopes of getting the skin or what ever it is they have, and it's not even a guarantee you will get the item you want.

Doesnt mean its finished or complete. So it has the core there, improvements will continue as with 95% of modern video games post launch. I mean look at BG3, Stalker 2, even Subnautica and most of the games the OP mentioned. So yeah the argument still holds its not an excuse.

Then explain why is this update called 1.0 instead of 0.1.8.0?

Did you never played a game ?
A game is never finished.
It has a base to play and in a normal case it will be developed.
Same for this game.
You have a story you can play.
You have housing you can use.
You can gather ressources.
You have the mainquest.
So this game is finished from base.

I excuse nothing.
We talked about potential and no game ever is finished when its released.
It has a base which you play and the more parts in the world, quests, monsters and many other things will be added from time to time so a game is never finished.

At last i dont need to excuse anything because i like the game and for me its fine.
I payed 19,50 € for such a game which is 1/3 normaly of a fullprice title of AAA games
which such mostly because full of bugs and other bad things.

This game is relaxing, i only found 2 or 3 bugs which have absolute 0 impact on my gameplay.

Why is Stalker called 1.3.2 and still has about 500 “anomalies” that require fixing after full release?

Go and play CS. There’s a lot of action there and you won’t yawn
