Optimization has been one of the main focuses. It is always being worked on.
Still not great, tried 1.0. Game just suddenly drops frames from 80 fps to mid 20s and stays there, sometimes this gets fixed if I pause the game for some time but other times it's just ughhhhhh! They're not there yet.

I am running in "potato mode" and notice that when walking around (note I frame lock at 30) it still "stutter" once in a while when walking around a building.

Is the game still stuck at 1080p? This game was unplayable (<8 fps) last time I tried it in my RTX 3070 Laptop GPU

Yeah the team have done an insane amount of work on performance for 1.0. But PC specs can be infinite, so we can't test on every possible combo. If players are still finding issues with performance then we need them to get in touch via our feature upvote site or email us at support@farfromhome.games

I have to say that the performance has already improved. After I switched to DX12 and activated DLSS, I no longer had any significant FPS drops. There were only minor lags at the start of the game. My GPU (RTX 3080) also runs much more quietly compared to the beta.

Not great I would say.
Getting around 80-110 FPS at 1440p on a 5070 Ti with DLSS turned on to Quality. It fluctuates a lot. Dread to think what it would be like with DLSS turned off.

Recorded game's performance across several hours using CapFrameX... on a PC well above officially recommended spec average FPS was 44 with insane range of fluctuation - from 20 to 120. Simply equipping portable extractor on a large tower sends FPS into the ground.

I can see performance getting worst as the world gets more objects, but this sounds promising and I'll try it out once more.

Yeah it still runs absolutely awfully and the minimum requirements are a complete lie.
I dunno, I ve had no issues, and im using a GTX 1070.

The only times my frames does drop is when cutting down plants like fruits haning from trees and brances.

And i play in 1440p

3080 here. High settings except for shadows and pp, getting 90-110 with or without DLSS.
