Technically speaking, airships aren't airplanes, they're ships.
And in reality, today's airships don't have landing gear either, because they don't need one.
And if the damage during landing has now been repaired, the issue itself is obsolete, but if you descend slowly, nothing happens. At least not for me.
I put railings all around, and those dang things keep coming; now they glitch into my engines so I cant get to them; SUPER frustrating.. having to remove stuff just to take them out!
You know, no airship has them?
Well but we players still love the "thrill" of landing and taking off, me at least, whenenver I try to approach landing "pad" I am doing it slowly as I approach.
Some sense of "realism" and that we have landing gear will be great, in my opinion.
When you see those on _one_ bicycle, following your logic, _every_ biycle has them: https://bilder.obi.de/1419000d-0d4d-4350-8a59-794baff284cc/prZZK/image.jpeg
That said, usually a "blimp" is not really an "airship" (technically).
Your turn. :-p
It would be nice to have some little feet or something for it to stand on, but really, the frame that extends on the bottom is substantial enough. Not to mention, the feet would make climbing back into it more difficult, especially with some of the areas you land on (giant lily pods etc.) I want less, not more, underneath the ship when landing.
Its not a "plane" so landing gear (tires, struts) arent really necessary, as its not "speeding" to a landing (unless you do that yourself), and it doesnt "roll" when it gets there. (Im a former Aircraft Mechanic)
