Little epoxy to be found.

I'm basically stalled out. No epoxy, no fixings to make epoxy. I've been to the first elevator.

Is there some trick to it?

epoxy has become rarer. you can sometimes find it in the crates you need to fix, theres some down at the bottom of the elevator
however if you have a fluid distiller or whatever the hell that thing is called, you can use Dust Daisy things, the round fruit from them to make Plant Resin, which is used to make epoxy. and once you have the seeds for the dust daisy, you can plant them in a planter and just grow them pretty much forever and gather the things to make plant resin and make plenty more epoxy.

where do you get the dust daisy? we are having issues getting epoxy as well and cant get into the underdust because we can't make the virus thing to make the booster. we have scavenged a ton of towers with no luck on epoxy

Fly over the dust some more and watch for smoke above the buildings, this will mean that there is a fallen capsule there. Fly there and you will find epoxy in the boxes.

I have so much epoxy and resin now that I can open a business trading...

You should be able to find some harvestable dust daisies (and hopefully a seed or two) in the Underdust at the first type of Lift Tower, before going down into the tunnels (so you don't need the Hypothermia Booster). Explore the area thoroughly to find all the flowers with fruit. Once you have a seed, you can grow them for an infinite supply of epoxy.

I couldn't find the dust daisies before going into the lower tunnels. But I did find a bunch of epoxy sitting around at the bottom of the elevator and a few in crashed pods.

Hypothermia hint: Bring a knife or crossbow to an overgrown com tower, or wildlife lower level, to get honey. There are bees in the underdust, but I couldn't get to them until after I didn't need them.

Next time you go down there collect the semen of the orange plant then you plant it and thenyou can craft resin with your destiliser. It´s like an endless supply of epoxy. With one growth you can craft like 10-15 Epoxy.
