I didn't find any chat ingame.

Not yet, just voice chat through third party and also an in-game ping system to assist

We can't communicate with other players to tell them to get discord, sign up, configure like this, join blah blah server, and look for me in the chat channel down the left side.......

Same for Steam chat, Ventrillo, TS, etc, etc.
