My friend also got stuck here over an hour searching for these
They are roughly in the north east direction and you are seeing these thin panels from their side, so they are very narrow and hard to see.
Sorry we didn't get a screenshot.
But it's roughly here
Most people pick them up when they spend a lot of time clicking on everything
but people who want to finish the tutorial quickly don't have the patience to look over every pixel for an hour

This is what they look like, this picture is taken from the spawn/tutorial area.

Not sure if the other biomes are different, in the red one they just float around like this.

The problem is finding the other because you need 6x silicon to progress
That is where some people get stuck for one hour or two then give up and never play the game again
You don't require any silicon to get the ship moving, you'd have to lose your batteries somehow, but that shouldn't be possible unless you somehow manage to get 12 Silicon without ever building a scanner, as the Airship builder requires Electric Parts.
There are four batteries at the beginning.
One is used to open the door
One is used to power the Research Station
One is used for a Scanner (Allows you to research and build the engine, just synthetic/metal stuff)
One is used for an Airship Builder (Requires 6 Silicon each, you'd have to somehow build two of these without ever getting the scanner/engine, which I don't think you can do.)
But I'm not sure and I don't want to go through the tutorial again.
But I saw while searching on google a lot of people were looking for this silicon to finish the tutorial.
I restarted though and I have found them flying around randomly in the starter biome as well, so it should be fine, (although didn't see any directly at spawn.)
It requires 2 Silicon to research, then 6 silicon to craft an Electrical Part. There's only 4 immediately available from the platform, then right in front of them a bit of reach there's 8 more silicon you can fly to, with lots more spread around the biome for you to fly to.
Anyways, good luck boss, I wish many silicon upon you.
You don't need silicon at all to finish the tutorial, but its a common mistake.
I thought i did too, you need 6 silicon to build something (i forget what) but after looking around and only getting 2 nearby, i realised i could just take off and pick it up on the way to my next destination. Silicon is all over the place in the first biome.l
