Getting deeper into the lift - am I stuck?
Quest wants me to descend into the dust, but I've explored everywhere I can (the rest is blocked by flowers)

I assume I need to build the virus lab, but I need materials (epoxy)
To build epoxy I need resin
To build resin I need to find/research some (in the lift)

So I tried going to a different lift to look for either more epoxy, or resin
To land on the lift I need a docking platform
To build the docking platform I need epoxy
To build epoxy I need resin
To build resin I need to get into the lift

Is my game soft-locked? Is there some other source of resin, I've explored all the locations around the quest lift (except for one covered in damaging plants) and can't see a way to get into any other lifts

Does loot respawn if I leave for a while, could I do something else and come back and get respawned epoxy from the quest lift?

If I manage to find more epoxy hidden somewhere, should I build the virus scanner to progress the quest, or should I build the docker so I can get more from another lift?? I still don't have a crossbow either

No loot does not respawn. If you used the Epoxy you found then you need to go to another location that has an elevator to the underdust. Get the Epoxy and make the virus machine.. I did the same thing. Had to track down another tower like it. Once past the flowers you learn how to make Epoxy.

Then I AM perma-stuck? I have to start a new game?

I can't land on any other lift without the docker. And the docker needs epoxy. And I can't make epoxy without plant resin, which I have to find in a lift. I have never picked up resin, so even though I am growing dust daisy, I can't research or make it.

So I have to get in the lift so I can get mats to get in the lift??? Where did you find resin

No, you can go to a similar tower you just went to. Don't need to dock. Just keep flying till you find one just like it. Should have been Epoxy in the underdust just after the elevator takes you down. Towers, there are always more like them. Keep searching.

This is literally the only lift on the radar that isn't overgrown. I've been flying around for a while and every single location is now either greyed out or too deadly to land on.

I build the docker so I could use an overgrown one, but apparently I need a second type of pass to use it. Not that I can try, because I need a crossbow to finish the parkour, and I can't get one until I get into the quest tower.

So to get into the quest tower, I need to get into the quest tower. All for the love of a single scan of plant resin.

Why couldn't they have just put resin in Noah's quest tower?!

They put Epoxy in Noahs Tower. You get Resin after passing the flowers. Keep flying, it starts over at 5 Kl radius.

Yes, if you get far enough away from the Lift tower, any new Lift towers you find will have completely reset.

IIRC there is also still a chance of epoxy in that one room on regular Greenhouses that you need to deconstruct a wall to get into, so check out any Greenhouses you come across while looking.

Just to point out but that likely got patched up so that they no longer spawn epoxy at greenhouses because its a late game item.

I don't remember seeing any at the Greenhouses. I could be wrong on that. Better to find another Noah's tower and get what you need in one shot and finish the quest while your there.

Thanks, I had to take a break for life responsibilities but after enough time travelling in one direction the radar eventually spawned a second version of the tower. I have a lot more epoxy now and am going to craft the virus analyzer
