Updated PTB Backpacks

At this time on PTB the Backpack Upgrade is straight up disappearing and everything that was in those slots are gone. This has happened to at least 2 of us since the update this morning.

It's the one that costs 50 Chitin to craft.

This has been partially remedied with Hotfix #3 on PTB from 27Aug. Saves that DID NOT have this bug (i.e. no Backpack equipped before the Hotfix) everything works fine. Saves that HAVE this Bug are still bugged at this time and FFH is aware and working to see if they can fix it for PTB but it should work perfectly once the Patch is Live.

UPDATE: I believe the items are still there due to the lock icon where the Backpack Upgrade is (that happens when you place an item in one of the inventory slots), but we can't see or access the items. So this could just be a visual bug and not a "everything's gone" doomsday bug.

My upgraded backpack dissappeared as well after a save. Came back this morning and it was gone. Luckily I emptied it out before my save.

I confirm. The backpack disappeared from the slot and the additional slots also disappeared along with it.

Correction: I also confirm that the items have not disappeared anywhere, they are still in the inventory, but they cannot be accessed without a backpack.

Coming back to the ship, I had time to study the level 1 and 2 backpack, have crafted and set them up, I had one more line in the backpack and there was a crash of the game (I did not note or send).
When I returned to the game, I had lost the extra line and everything that was in it

My level 2 backpack is not showing up in my mod station. I researched it, but it is not listed in the mod station, even though the yellow triangle shows that there are new items.

on the backpack level 2 will show up in upgrade station when you are to level 2 but that level 2 backpack cost 70 level 1 so i have not made it yet since level one is broken

I'm sorry WHAT? 70 Level 1 Backpacks? That's 50 Chitin EACH times 70? What in the actual??? 3500 Chitin, are they out of their minds?

then check your upgrade station to see if backpack is showing up

Hey bud, can you check if this is working for you now after todays hotfix?

And if so, could you maybe adjust the title or delete this thread? I dont want to do it without you confirming it works on your end :)

For my part, I made the small and medium backpacks but there is a padlock in the appropriate place so they do not want to settle there.
I imagine that if there is a padlock, my old backpack is still stuck in it? (but it is invisible)
