There is no need to be so rude, I'm trying to help you, I would appreciate you speaking to me like a human being, please. Now, have you loaded from an old save or have you started a fresh save?
If you follow the objectives in the top left of your screen, then you will never go far wrong.
We are trying to keep players' legacy saves still valid while continuing to improve and update the game, so people don't have to restart with each update.
Great game. Well done Devs.
Building the hologram created the quest objective to research it so I picked it up and fed it into the research terminal, but the research still requires an "Advanced Pass Component" to be able to make the advanced pass but if researching the hologram was supposed to generate an "advanced pass component" that bugged out and did not happen. I've already started a new game once with the latest update, so there shouldn't be any old altered item references pointing the wrong way.
The pass component is something you craft, you don't find it.
Its under the Components header in the Fabricator.
It needs x1 Electric Element and 1x Plastic Scrap IIRC.
On an aside, are there plans to change some of the maps? I appreciate the "unstuck" option in the menu, the overgrown lift only has a ladder on one side and I came in through the ramp on the opposite side and had to use the menu to reset my location each time I wanted to get back onto the blimp because I couldn't get back onto the second level. Kind of makes me wish for rope ladders the player can construct and install onto select points.
You FIND the blueprints for the Advanced module, like you do the basic module. The Pass Component is the bit that bypasses the lock. So I guess either way makes sense.
You're encouraged to access the Overgrown Lift with the Docking Plank. UNSTUCK is only supposed to be a last resort. There are 5 entry points to the lift IIRC, but most of them require the Docking Plank so you can regain access to your base.
