Where to find the advanced pass component?

does anyone know where to find the advanced pass component? I've searched the area for an hour and haven't found it.

If you scanned the card reader outside the elevator and did the research, then the blueprint should be in the fabricator.

Some kind of glitch.
There is no option to create an "advanced pass component" in the fabricator.

You have to build the evolved flora hologram in the ship workstation and use that to research something (I don't remember what) that unlocked the advanced pass component.

I don't remember what exactly I did with it, but it was used up in the process. Check your quest log, as that was what made made me do something with it.

Did u scan the "Machine" itself ?
Scanning the machines seperatly at the Underdust Suburbs and normal Underdust should give you the 2 different cards needed to be researched
Research these, craft em and it will give you 2 new modules to research,.
Research and craft em

If not.. guess its a bug.
Didnt have any issues with it using my old save

And where can I find this Machine?..

But we need an 'advanced pass component' BEFORE 'Underbust Suburbs'
and during the game, it is not necessary to get into 'normal Underdust' before that!
(if you have started a NEW game)

The first underdust machine is a floor up from the elevator door where the battery box used to be.
The suburbs "machine" is between the dead scientist and the elevator.
You do not need a pass component to enter the suburbs upper area, only to unlock the elevator down to the underdust suburbs.

So first of all you need to fly through 3 infected greenhouses and get the `evolved flora hologram`.

It would be helpful if the game gave you a few tips on how to do this, it's so tedious to wade through everything possible, it could have been solved differently. and there is no solution in the WIKI either

If u follow the storyline i would think this will come naturally.
But i might be completely wrong as im using the same save as before the update, so things might have changed.

The wiki is out of date and fan-made, so cant help you there.
