How do we change the plant in a large plot?
You don't. It has been mentioned that the devs might revise the growing system at some point, but it's not a current priority.
Once you have the recycler you can recycle the whole pot if you like, and get the materials back to make a new pot, but I don't recommend it; between food, crafting uses, and the various medical recipes, it's nice to have one of every plant growing.
It should be a priority. They've made the big growth pots central to epoxy collection. While they work, you can't change seeds and you can't add fertilizer once the growing has started.
I'd like to see that growing plants is either optional, so we can still scavenge for the things we grow or that they make it work better. Right now it's got way too much fiddling. For example, the way watering works. They way fertilizer only kinds of works.
This seems part and partial to the "making the game less fun" changes that have been coming out.
Its also not been a year yet. Gardening was released on March 28th 2024.
When is the next update please?
I am on the beta branch and can't find many things.
The beta branch and main branch are the same right now, there is nothing on the beta.
Hyggyldy, you realise the post you replied to was 4 months old? The beta branch is currently different as they're testing the 1.0 release.
This release is also due out on April 14th so yeah, feel free to not play until then if that's what you want ;)
Just to add .02, if you use fertilizer on a Large Pot that plant will always grow with it (free of charge!!) Not a bad deal if you ask me..
