hmm, it depends. when i bought the game backthen in EA was i in about 10 hours done with the content they had backthen. however, this time included that i farmed stuff for upgrading my ship, making it bigger, getting glas windows. and well, glas floor for the pilot cabin since it is easier to land with that xD... ehm then i played lots aswell to complete the crafting stuff etc.

i returned with the new patch now cause they FINALLY implemented crafting from storage. tho i started a new game aswell and am so far 7 hours in again and reached the underdust, this time includes again decorating the ship, making it bigger, more carry weight and so on.
its probably 3 hours lesser cause i know how it works and what i need.

so, to reach the EA end probably about 7 hours+ but since the game is released now (aka technicly storywise finished) can i not really say how much more comes afterwards.

so, i assume another 7~10 hours? since it was half way done bachthen :o?
all i can say is, the game is way more fun then it was in the EA phase owo.
they still need to make the thunder strikes quiter ... THEY ARE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOUD.

From our Steam page:

What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“Our game allows for world exploration, gathering resources, reverse engineering technology, operating the airship, flying it, and managing its hull integrity and weight. The player can build new modules and customize the interiors. In addition, as a part of the survival loop, players need to eat, drink and take care of their health. Currently, the game has 25+ hours of gameplay, including story missions, side content, and airship customization content. This number will continue to grow as we add each major update. Please see the section "About This" to learn about features available in the game.”

Yeah, it was a decision made by the production team. After all, we can name the version whatever we want in theory.

The full version name at present is EA.1.5.2.
The EA stands for Early Access. And we have done this throughout the entire Early Access period. When we come out of Early Access, that EA will disappear.

I would recommend checking out our updated 2024 roadmap for more info.

This is great, looking forward to 25+ hours of campaign story :-)

Thank you and I hope to see a good discount.
