Not being able to craft them makes you visit towers more.

In my opinion, this is a bad game mechanic.... When ever we are forced on a specifik path, or repeating chores.... We should be able to craft them ourselves, with resources found everywhere!

In order to collect those resources you HAVE TO VISIT TOWERS! Take a 15 m detour and pick up that battery.

It's boring gathering that batteries when u have to use it for charging extractors or chargers

Well regardless of what you think this conversation has been brought up SO MANY TIMES.. I've never once in my 4 playthroughs ever ran out of SS batteries.. I mean you have to visit towers.. you just grab the battery.. it takes 30 seconds. If that is too much for you then I don't know what to say.

You are completly missing my point..... It's not abouth the fact that batteris are both easy to find and collect... It's abouth the fact that batteries only appear in one way!-

The problem is, that it gives us no chioce in how we want to progress and do different tasks... It's linear, and we can't continue before we finish the task leading up to the next task.

The way arround this issue, is making the resources available in more that one type of location, and creating more recipes for the same goals....

Easy poi's give less loot.... Hard poi's give more loot...

Now we can decide how we wish to play, and how we progress!

You can give your feed back to the dev team and participate in the development process, but you are not in control of it. They are. They decide what to implement and what not.

If you want unlimited options to achieve your goals in games - there are plenty of games specifically built around this idea. This game is not about it. Don't expect it to be a jack-of-all-trades in every aspect to satisfy your wishes when it's been less than 5 months since EA launch.

That's exactly what a game with resources has to be...

We can understand it's EA but bro, 29€ when there are literally more games with more content and less people working on it, like The Planet Crafter, for example. If the game it's not for the players, then what's the point releasing it like EA?

Having a McGuffin/KeyItem require you to visit platforms is good. Makes every stop worth it. The problem is calling this a "Solid State Battery" is disruptive to verisimilitude and extremely anti-intuitive. You read that and think, "Well this is OBVIOUSLY a boring item I can craft." Just like you craft batteries in every other game.

Instead they should call it like an Ancient Quantum Flux Relic. Some Cystaline Aetherial Luminarite. Or like a Core Energon Crystal Shard. Something that sounds valuable and uncraftable.

At the minute, we go with the now silent majority who prefer to find batteries on locations. Doing this helps you understand what location you have also visited because it greys out the location on your radar.

It has more than one function. Personally, I'm a fan of this mechanic. Players get into the habit of picking up the batteries. They now stack nicely too. It takes an extra couple of seconds to collect them, no real harm.

Be wary though that this isn't a NO, this is a "Not now, at present the system works well for most players and fits nicely into the gameloop."

They are easy to find, but I would like a mechanic to be able to recharge them, say from crystal batteries. Or maybe a solar panel that takes 24 hours to recharge one. Who knows.

Apparently, there is a silent "majority" who prefers collecting them until the infinite. I can't see near a way to craft or recharging them.

I think thats fair. Its certainly something that has come up in discussions in the studio. There's a chance it could happen, but there are no promises.
