Is there a flashlight?

Wondering, if there's something like a flashlight tool/upgrade out there. During nighttime/storms, it's sometimes hard to see inside shacks.

If not, would be a nice Qol tool to acquire

Hi, there's a flashlight, you can toggle it with F. We know it's not properly introduced in the game and this will be improved.

argh. I usually check the control settings to see what the kay bindings are. This time I did not. My bad. But thanks for answering so fast :D

You may find the flashlight very irritating. It WILL switch off at times, leaving you to wonder why? The light is very helpful but man... if I could, I'd leave it on all the time as the game is simply too dark for my elder eyes :-)

You would think hey, if I turned it on but not off, why the heck is it off again??? So be prepared.

Uhm it shouldnt be switching itself off. That doesnt sound right.
This needs reporting as a bug.

It turns itself off when you use things like the rudder, or anything with an inventory or menu(creator, research, cooking pot, insect catcher, etc). Just using simple doors does not turn it off.
