partial controller support

what does partial mean. can move, pick up, shoot and maneuver via controller or does it need keyboard as well. ty

I'm not sure what is meant by partial controller support but I use a controller and I've had no issues. I can move, pick up stuff, maneuver, shoot, etc. No keyboard necessary. I'm primarily a console gamer so I'm very happy to be able to play this on a controller in early access at that.

Controllers work fine, though they intermittently aren't recognized so I have restart the game a few times to get the game to recognize it's plugged in.

Controller is supported for most stuff, only some UI stuff it's easier to use a mouse and that's where the partly comes from

In Steam you can customize a controller for each game. I run a controller on all my games even ones that don't support it. I run custom configs I can pretty much make the controller do anything. I have 1 button do 3 things using sub commands it's very cool once you learn how to program it. Think there is a YouTube video out there that might show you how to do custom configs. Basically the controller is a Keyboard emulator.

Yes I use the mouse for Inventory on most of my games. It's just way faster to move thing with the mouse plus I programmed the other mouse side buttons 1 is shift to move stacks.
