Need Help :(
Need some help
just played a little bit maybe 30 minutes
and then both my monitors went off and did not come back on again
the fans in the pc were also enormously loud and I could only switch off the pc via the power button.

does anyone have any idea how I can fix this error?
it seems that my graka got too hot... but my ICUE didn't show much in the way of temperature, so about 70°C...

It is hard to diagnose without being there. I would troubleshoot. Run a stress test of your GPU/CPU see if that kicks back an issue. And go from there. If It is black screen when you stress test have a look at last recorded GPU temps to see if they were abnormal. I would do all the normal things like check fans run, no dust build up. However Normally your GPU will clock down in order to save itself. Ensure your PSU supplies enough power to satisfy the needs of your PC. Ensure your GPU drivers are up to date (you would not believe the amount of times this causes problems.) Hope it goes well. I can answer more questions if you have them.

All the best. :)

my PC also turns on fully - as if it is about to take off. And I play games that have much higher demands where that doesn't happen.

Same problem for me.
3 crashes in about 1 hour.
I have a Radeon 6950 XT and it seems to overheat whatever the level of details I put, from epique to middle quality.
The screen become black, Windows crash, and one time I had to reinstall the drivers because they were f****d.
Oh and I play other games that have high demand like Ark, Cyberpunk, etc

I forgot to mention, but I play the demo till the end and no problem with that.

sounds like an overheat issue.
i played the game for flat 7 hours today and my PC is fine.
so~
if only the minority getting this is it definitly the fault of your cooling system.
and i have an rtx 2060super and have no issues ...
i mean OP wouldnt be the firstone which gets issues with a 4090.
i hope your cables didnt melted down which is the main issue of those cards.

that has nothing to do with overheating if all other games are running smoothly. I have an RX 6750 XT. With my other games, the fan hardly turns on. I haven't overclocked either.

same here this game is very GPU demanding you need a good cooling system especially in hot climates i recommend a Noctua fan, they are pricey but you wont get any more random shutdowns, if you are a bit dry you can also open your case and place a fan infront of it this will help temporary but you need to clean it after a week.

Hi guys,

IF you can please send us details about your technical problems using this link - https://www.farfromhomegames.com/en/playtests

Also please make sure you have the latest drivers and if your PC specs are in the recommended to minimum range. We know older cards (than the ones mentioned in minimum specs may have a problem with performance)

Hey. Try to Limit your Frame Rate to 60. And if you don't know how you could also try to Turn on V-sync to stop the frames from exceeding your refresh, see if that helps.

I have the same problem... after about 1 hour of play, it completely fails. only the power button helped

Well,
I find the problem, at least for me. Go back to directX 11 instead of directX 12 and no more crashes.
And I activate the VSync too
