All the best. :)
3 crashes in about 1 hour.
I have a Radeon 6950 XT and it seems to overheat whatever the level of details I put, from epique to middle quality.
The screen become black, Windows crash, and one time I had to reinstall the drivers because they were f****d.
Oh and I play other games that have high demand like Ark, Cyberpunk, etc
I forgot to mention, but I play the demo till the end and no problem with that.
i played the game for flat 7 hours today and my PC is fine.
so~
if only the minority getting this is it definitly the fault of your cooling system.
and i have an rtx 2060super and have no issues ...
i mean OP wouldnt be the firstone which gets issues with a 4090.
i hope your cables didnt melted down which is the main issue of those cards.
same here this game is very GPU demanding you need a good cooling system especially in hot climates i recommend a Noctua fan, they are pricey but you wont get any more random shutdowns, if you are a bit dry you can also open your case and place a fan infront of it this will help temporary but you need to clean it after a week.
IF you can please send us details about your technical problems using this link - https://www.farfromhomegames.com/en/playtests
Also please make sure you have the latest drivers and if your PC specs are in the recommended to minimum range. We know older cards (than the ones mentioned in minimum specs may have a problem with performance)
Hey. Try to Limit your Frame Rate to 60. And if you don't know how you could also try to Turn on V-sync to stop the frames from exceeding your refresh, see if that helps.
I find the problem, at least for me. Go back to directX 11 instead of directX 12 and no more crashes.
And I activate the VSync too
