How to discard/delete inventory?

Throw it on the ground at a location by pulling it out of your inventory window and fly away. Currently there isn't any other way.

Nope hadn't figured that out yet... is there any refrigeration in my future so things will last longer?

I'm in easy mode (just started) and the constant water/food demands are kind of irritating the crap out of me. I'm not so keen on constantly gathering food/water in an almost constant chant of "water...food... water... food.." :-)

I would have to agree on the constant food water thing, Mostly because you can go weeks without food in the real world, but water you need a constant source and if on easy it shouldnt go down as fast as it does. The higher difficulty levels I would understand.

Kinda why I asked in another thread on ways to grow certain types of plants and have a planter on the ship. Of course it will have weight, but it would be a nice addition

I'm curious about this as well as there doesn't seem to be any way of getting rid of stuff you no longer need. We need a trash container or something. I made the mistake of picking up relics that are useless (thinking they would be later) and now i can't get rid of them.
