Hoarding is a way of life for me.
If you've ever played Raft, you'll be right at home and you'll know what to expect. Same sort of curve with store/food/automation/speed, and so forth. Thankfully, no sky shark chewing on your ballon.
In Void Train the global stack size was like... 5 just unreasonably low and it nearly singled handedly killed that game for us. Submautica I became addicted to the auto-sort lockers mod and can't even play the game anymore because the mod author stopped updating it.
Totally get this is mostly a me thing, but I really hope we don't have weirdly small stack sizes. Gameiness is always better then forced realism so I hope it's not a matter of pushing realism.
Oh that sounds fine if it's item independent. Sorta used to that from subnautica. I can't even properly recall if things stacked at all there, I don't think they did. As long as we have a way to stash tons of stuff somehow I'm fine.
I mean, I can't stack fruit while it's fresh but as soon as it rots I can stack those? It doesn't make sense.
As for hoarding - in survival games I like to get food in advance so I don't have to hunt/craft/cook it while doing other things.
In FS the food spoils very fast. So you won't be able to hoard everything anyway.
Sounds like you need to find the freezer
Ah, thanks for the heads up. I was hoping there would be something like that.
I got to the end of the EA so I assumed that's that. I will give it a go and try to find one.
One question if you don't mind - will we get a bigger inventory at some point in the game?
I believe its in the plans. I would recommend demanding it from the feedback option in the games pause menu just to make sure!
There should still be much to discover, even when completing all objectives. Check for ?'s on the radar. They're all undiscovered locations with new tech to find.
