Too many lightning strikes
Since the update, thunderstorms have been frequent, and the number of times we are stranded due to the inability to set sail has increased. And when it comes to thunderstorms, there is a high probability of lightning strikes, and the airship is repaired every time. Sometimes I understand it as a natural phenomenon, but every time it seems like lightning strikes the airship, and I am amazed at the repairs every time. I want you to stop the lightning strike damage that hinders the progress of the game.
When it's terrible, there are times when I'm repairing lightning damage all the time.
I don't want to play a repair game.

I would like to be able to manufacture batteries. A battery is required to charge the scanner and builder. I'm worried about running out of battery.
It's leaking from the roof of the airship. Don't you have a roof? ?

Also, please support Japanese.

Hi Sakura, in answer to all of your requests:
1. We hope to add Japanese in the future
2. We're aware of the rain coming through the roof bug, we're trying to get this fixed ASAP.
3. Batteries can be found at EVERY location you land at, they are infinite
4. If you believe lightening is more frequent after the recent patch then please report that here - https://www.farfromhomegames.com/en/playtests

I made a request regarding the lightning strike from the address you provided, but I am not sure if there is a system problem over there or if the message was sent correctly.

I can't find any information about reduced lightning strikes in latest patch, but maybe I'm not reading it correctly.

The frequent lightning storms are also my biggest complaint and concern for this game since the devs have done a phenomenal job with this game. I have to give it to them, this is an extremely well done game with massive future potential but it needs some balance based on in-game experience for all players who spend more than 1 hour in game. An extreme weather effect like a storm with lightning could be a potential game breaker since it makes the game feel repetative, when its too frequent.

I hope that the frequency of thunderstorms is only due to the only one weather effect that has been implemented so far.
If the weather were a variety of heavy rain, dry thunderstorms, dust storms, hurricane force winds (and combinations thereof of course), none of them would be overly intrusive with such frequency.

Rather than reduce lightning strikes, maybe make it so that if your ship is damaged above 50% then the parts don't burst into flames (or maybe they can be slightly damaged or blackened/charred) and your computer does not alert you every 5 seconds that your engine is working at lower capacity. I like the storms but I do find having an exploding ship where most pieces are at 90% health is kind of silly.

Maybe also make storms push your ship around to make it more difficult to fly or add an auto repair piece of technology that slowly repairs your ship over time to make it easier to repair the minor damage without having to waste an item.

Anyways love the game so far, can't wait for new content!

Lean to avoid the lightning. It's easy to avoid and once you know how, you rarely need to repair. I repair more often from hard landings than to lightning strikes.

You need to stay below other buildings, especially power antennas. If your ship is less than 3 Rooms high, just sitting at any Comm Point type should not net any lightning strikes. Also, the landing spots at greenhouses are safe also. I rarely get it at UnderDust Entrances unless I park way out on the ledge. Wind Farms are bad due to the way the Power Antenna is lower than the landing pad. Once you have the Docking Plank, just dock next to Power Antenna location instead of the landing pad up top. Or if you do not have the Docking Plank, wait at a nearby Comm Point until just after a storm then go to the Wind Farm and be away before the next storm. Also, if you are traveling in open sky and a storm comes in, perch behind any ruined building for protection.

I would like to see a slider in the Settings that allows the Player to choose Storm/Rain frequency/intensity but I'm not certain the above sentence is accurate. How are you being so completely disabled by Lightning that you literally can't move?

Everytime there is a lightning storm, you would want to get to safety, so your ship does not take damage and disable your builds. So basicly they cant move because of being hit by the storm.

You can technicaly avoid it comepletly by flying down to the dust level ( think its at 125 or 225 to be in a safe zone, without brakeing the ship from the dust pressure)

I'm well versed in avoiding Lightning damage, doesn't mean I love having it Storm every 2-5 minutes, especially when I'm trying to make a video about this or that, hence asking for a slider of sorts to turn down the frequency/intensity (for those who choose to do so).

Also, it's 100% false that you can avoid Lightning damage altogether by dropping to 221 MASL (220 gives you the warning, 217 gives an alarm, 210 damages your ship). The safest place is docked on the lowest Platform of a Greenhouse Tower. You CAN still get hit, but it's rare and minimal damage.

i would just love to be able to turn the flash off on strikes in the options unless its already there i am quite surprised would not have this option already and the noise is loud i had to turn volume down for this

It wasnt in the last patch. Its a low priority as a very small number of people have raised an issue with it.

I recommend players send this to SEND FEEDBACK via the pause menu if they feel passionately about something

My ship was so damaged I used a entire box of patches and had to make more. this was the large box you find under the dust so yes the lighting is intense and the patches don't hardly do a thing to repair with. I get a storm is coming in all the time and frankly getting sick of it. And I really really like this game. How about just toning down the storms and the notifications from the AI a bit.

And give a larger stack to patches please, 5 is extremely low same as some other items. I play this game at least 8 hours a day some times. yep have finished it several times.at each level of the game. great game though can hardly wait for more on the story and more exploration under the Dust.

Also being able to do more with the pet like feeding and maybe petting the critter or have more with the story about this pet.

And where do you find the model of the Zeppelin as I have never found one yet seen one in a video I watched. Would love to have one of those.

And the running out of fuel in one engine notification is unreal to say the least and your ship will just stop what about the the other three engines that have fuel ? Why does the Zeppelin stop when you have 3 other engines that have fuel? Makes no sense what ever.

Possible Bug or hole in the map:
Also found a bug or hole in the map, a place you can get outside the map. Thought it was just a exit to more under dust biome but no was a hole up above the Lab. you could walk the beams down quite a ways once you got outside, thought it was like a way to explore more area and was surprised to find I was outside of the main play area. Good thing you have the unstuck feature as I have also been stuck other places to.

I would agree that either lightning strikes need to be toned down, or repair patches need to repair more condition per use (as in 100 condition instead of 50), or printing them needs to be in stacks of 10, not 5. Maybe all three. I just got hit by a storm that struck my airship three or four times. After it finished, all I did was repair damage (catwalk tiles are especially a pain because they're smaller and many of them get damaged per strike), and it took so many repair patches that by the time I finished repairing everything, the computer voice was warning me about ANOTHER storm coming in. That's just too much.
