YES YES YES FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING GOOD AND HOLY!!!
And I hate when ther are all these people saying no no no for the sake of realism... etc etc. Welp... YOU can stay in first person...while the rest of us will play in THIRD person. LMFAO
Uhhh that's a um.. rocket ship shape you're going for?
That's sad, another first person game I won't play, I hope that one day all the developers in the world understand that... not making games with both cameras is losing player numbers.
you can already disable the hud
goto settings - controls - about halfway down "toggle hud visibility" you can see what you have it bound to
Some people hate when you demand adding third person to games for....reasons.
I disagree. When a game is made with a focus to include everybody's favourite combination of features you end up with a crap product. A great example is making a game that is friendly for the controller - you end up with a game that has horrible menus for mouse+keyboard users. If you include more arcade elements into a game that is about building stuff then you loose focus on making the building part a great experience. Similarly if the game is made as first person - inclusion of third person takes focus away from making a great first person experience. I am a developer myself and believe me - having to maintain too many features just does not work well.
I think it is best when games are either third person or first person.
