or is that JUST stuff that needs to be scanned..
Man, you either pulled a really really REALLY bad RNG or you just straight up pumping numbers up for a drama. Until you unlock everything data card can be found pretty much on every tower, no matter the type. Greenhouse towers have a little chance to have two cards.
And what you proposed about tower explicitly indicating datacard presence is just a joke of an idea. This is what they call "hold my hand and walk me through" mode when you are inventing shortcuts to make your walkthrough easier than it has to be. What's the point of playing if you go through everything in the smallest amount of time? Slow down, don't rush, take your time. You are not speedrunning this game, it doesn't matter how fast you unlock every item in this game.
? is a station of the type you haven't been to yet.
I've found Data Pads and Relics at normal blinking Towers and found nothing but materials at fast blinking Tower (and vise-versa). It seems there's no rime or reason to a Beacon blinking fast, or not.
THAT would be the best way to indicate there's something there of interest, like a Data Pad. Having to stop at literally every single Tower hoping for "that thing" you've been trying to find will burn Players out real fast. For example, I'm on PTB and it took me ~11.5 hours to find the new Capybara Collectible and just over 12 hours to find the new Clock. I went from 0 Batteries when I transferred over to the PTB to having collected 70-80 Batteries now. That includes 2 Underdust visits that you can't take the Battery from.
RNG is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game mechanic for those with bad luck, and no, no I don't know of a superior way to disperse items in a game than RNG, but that doesn't mean I don't have the right to complain about it.
Do you ever not complain? Seriously; every time I see you, you're complaining. Give it a rest already.
Right, like your freak out when people told you they didn't like your NPC traders and permanent base building idea. Totally didn't complain that whole time about how your opinion was pretty much the only one that mattered.
Suggestions is one thing, talking trash is another. Learn the difference.
You do, greenhouses give a chance for 2 to spawn. Though I’m not sure if every underdust tower spawns data pads as I’ve only been to one.
I think you're going a bit overboard here. DeLinsay might have had an idea or 2 that was well received but I think overall is a pretty good contributor to the community. I think you are overreacting quite a bit. We all have a right to speak up and have our voices heard and for the most part have been well received by the dev team. there is no need for personal attacks on people.
Hello me again, I guess I can share our secrets with you ;)
A location that has faster-blinking lights indicates that that particular POI has more supplies in its "shed" than a regular one.
On a Wind Farm, you need a battery to get access to the shed with extra Circuit Boards (adopted as GPU's by the community), on a Radio Tower, it has a shed with more Electrical parts behind a wall you need to extract.
