I just got the game this morning and was surprised there was no way to get rid of Rotten Food and such beyond dropping it at my feet. I guess it doesn't make a whole lot of difference, tossing it onto any random skyscraper then leaving is unlikely to memory leak the game into submission after all, but from a convenience standpoint being able to just delete something would be splendid.
Not necessarily recycling, just outright removing it from existence. Recycling could be the upgrade you get later on or something.
You can actually boil rotten food again.. and it becomes overcooked food and it stacks and no longer has a spoiler timer. but.. still agree with you.
Yeah I found that out not long after I made that comment - its pretty neat and I didn't expect that to be a thing at all!
