Decorative furniture, am I missing something?

I have now played the game through to the end of what is available as of 6/28/23, and I have been picking up data pads from every outpost I come across. Many of them have cosmetic furniture pieces and lighting items. However, I can't seem to find how to construct them. Am I missing some piece of equipment or experiencing a bug? I suppose that it is also possible that they are teasing a later ability to build these items.

Any ideas?

You have to use Ship Workstation, there three tabs there, two of them are
all about furniture and lightning.

Do not confuse the Ship Workstation for the Basic Fabricator (like i did). The Ship Workstation is a seperate device.

Thank you @Max Relax I was eventually able to find the 'Ship Workstation' on one of the variant wind farms and scan it. It definitely upgraded my storage possibilities.

FWIW: As of EA's launch (pre-1st Patch) there are:

20 Paints
19 furniture
11 Lights

PTB didn't add anything to the above but there are a large number of new collectibles spread around the various Towers. This will give you further options. Expect the 1st Patch to hit soon(ish).
