Do NOT get boss weapons, instead get their Amulets. All boss weapons are crap, literally pointless, and a lot of the time you won't even have enough capacity to use them anyways. However, their amulets are amazing, and once you've unlocked all your amulet slots, you can equip all the good ones and with your weapons levelled up you will be melting bosses.
Even Romeo King of the puppets weapon is not worth it, get the amulet instead.
And if anyone says otherwise, they're literally lying to you.

Nonsense, the umbrella is a great weapon, so is the dragon sword, im playing STR now and that silver blade that extends is amazing, hit a lot of walls with it hhehehe, but its great nonetheless.

Nah, you're tripping. Some of the weapons are certainly better than others, but most of the boss weapons are fantastic and I do not recommend just blanket picking the amulets at all.

No! New players HAVE to get the ALL the boss' weapons. Because you can equip literally ALL boss weapon at once for super damage booster nuke. Unlike weapon, you can only equip one amulet and that's it. So go ahead and pick one amulet, and the rest are for weapon.

The Extreme Modification Amulet has to be the best in the game. +20% damage all the time with 5 fable slots. I'd recommend everyone get that

there are some weapons that are worth something. Trident, double sword are insane. Trident carried me through my 1st playthrough. now i only use double sword...its hard to use but its broken. i dont recommend buying the sword on first run though is tricky to master tbh i would rather buy the amulet.

The real answer is to just play the game however you want. There's a new game plus so don't even worry about the choice.
