A game who promotes parry =/= a game where parry is a core mechanism.
LoP ISNT a game where parry is a core mechanism.
You can evade/kill without parry.
Just get gud (honestly)
parry? im bad on parry so I rolling on the floor
You can also just ignore parrying on normal enemies.
Well yeah the whole point of the game is to use 'everything' at your disposal. I don't get how people didn't think they weren't supposed to use both dodge and p.guard.
Do people play other games where they only use half the mechanics?
I am still around mid-game and I'm parrying only around 4-5% of the time. I mostly dodge and attack like other soul-like games.
However. There is a grindstone later in the game that makes all your blocks automatically a parry, and you can have a P-Organ that allows to use the grindstone twice. With this, so much cheese.
That's actually what one needs to do for the first phase...
