If you haven't gave "Proof of Humanity" a try yet...
...then what are you doing with your life?

Jokes aside, this baby might be the single most fun weapon to use IMO. Specifically focusing on heavy attacks and its unique "Link Slash". Both utitilze dual-wield moveset, which looks sick, the third input on "Link Slash" is a spinny move reminiscent of the one Nameless Puppet does - more style points, and as a cherry on top you have crits. A chance mechanic, sure, but when it works with all these multi-hit attacks - hoo boy.

All this, combined with the fact that I'm getting progressively more confident with my perfect guards, is creating one hell of an experience. Fresh out of King of Puppets fight, and phase 2 was a pure spectacle. So much fun :zagwow:

What I'm doing with my life right now is banging my head against Phase 2 of the Nameless fight on NG.

I can dog walk the dude's first phase. Can't seem to get him below 10% in Phase 2 without eating dirt.

1. The same advice I gave for Romeo works wonders here as well.
2. Blocking while moving to the side and around yields even more consistent results. Though, won't be as effective with DEX weapons, of course.
3. Perfection Grindstone (2 uses) as a safety net for when you really need it.

If you've gotten past Laxasia without much problems, then this guy should definetely be a chump. You can do it, I believe in you :ReeneOK:

Honestly, only major downside is its accessibility. PoH is a NG+ weapon and special upgrades path means you're probably not seeing this thing at full power until the end of NG+ unless you weren't frivolous with your Full Moonstone Covenants in NG (and frankly, there's lots of cool boss weapons in this game).

One other thing to note is from my experience, it's deceptively pretty bad at applying status effects for how fast it is, but the weapon crits so it's more a decent trade-off.

It looks fantastic, *but* Anarchy summed up what I feel, at least in the first half. I wanted to give the Twin Dragons a shot after I respecced to Dex near the end, and the same with the Golden Lie. And just like that, my hopes of using Proof of Humanity through all of NG+ flew right out the door.

Like, I'm genuinely impressed with how Proof looks in action, but I'm not going to swing a +3 against NG+ King of Puppets just because I decided to try out two of the fancier boss weapons.

i honestly hate weapon upgrade systems in these games because of scenarios like this. all it does is limit your options and punish experimentation. it's not like "you're stuck with your choices!" is some major theme in this game in that regard, as you can easily reset your stats, p-skills and oddly enough even your legion arm (which is fairly similar in concept to being able to reset a weapon to get your stones back)
