No reason to artificially gate people out of weapons for NG+, or at the very least, make it to where the end materials drop early in NG+
So... DLC...?
Do I really have to point out the obvious here
I wouldn't call 8 a lot compared to how many weapons Dark souls 3 has. Not only that, aside from the special boss weapons, you can max a blade here, min max by putting another handle on it, etc.
You might not be able to max a lot of weapons but due to how the system works i'd say it's not as bad. But more items at the endgame or in NG+ wouldn't be bad.
Because the purpose of NG+n is to increase the difficulty. Not to ease it up or flatten it.
Even though from the end of NG+2, the bonus are pretty insane
So, massive increases to HP of all enemies and also damage increase is not increasing difficulty?
Our defensive options are improving in NG+ and NG++ to keep up with the buffs but our damage does not. This will eventually make the game a slog fest because everything will take too long to kill. Killing trash in 3 hits of Motivity weapon does not feel right.
I'm currently in Act 7 on NG+ and so far the game is manageable but I more and more rely on consumable buffs to improve my damage. This is fine since Ergo is plentiful but I'm questioning what will I have to do to keep up with HP increases in NG++?
Considering there is no point in using a non maxed weapon in NG+1 or higher, it would be nice if we were able to purchase more materials than it's currently possible at some point during NG+1, just for the fun of playing with more weapons.
It's not like having more boss weapons at +5 will make the character any stronger. It just gives more options to have fun.
Where did I said it did not increase the difficulty?
The HP increase isn't ridiculous though.
I was killing bosses faster in NG+2 than NG+ mostly thanks to the weight bonus letting me abuse amulets.
