Favorite Legion Arm?
Mine's Fulminis. I had my doubts but it floors almost every regular enemy, staggers most elites and is a great wake up attack after a Fatal attack. Also scales best with my stats but that's different. Just requires a bit of preparing beforehand.

Puppet String and Deus Ex Machina, easy.

"Link Attack" is busted if you know when to use it, and mines just feel really good in general (also yeeting lesser crooks off the cliffs/bridges).

Pandemonium! Pandemonium! Pandemonium!

Also Puppet String cause Link Attack deals silly damage + helps keep ontop of mobile enemies. It can also trigger stagger so options.

I did want to invest in Puppet String because Link Attack looks really cool. Maybe later...

And Pandemonium, I haven't messed with Acid damage too much. I'm hearing it's good though.

Aegis. As a greatsword user I got the damage in spades and being able to block and attack feels so much better to me than trying to play around the other arms.

Me too, I left Pandemonium for last and only fully upgraded it in NG+2, even then I didn't touch it, but I read a lot of good things about it.

Puppet String, but more for the utility than the follow-up. Being able to interrupt most human-sized enemies on a moment's notice is insanely useful, and the Legion Recharge on Kill can practically pay for itself.

Second place would be Falcon's Eye. I know it's not as crazy-impressive as the demo reel ingame makes it out to be, but some safe damage from a range if an enemy won't come to me is something I value. The extra shot upgrades are even handier.

Falcon Eyes hands down.

Puppet String, and it's not even a contest for me. Being able to separate enemies is very valuable, and the gapcloser lets you do all kind of neat ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's also one of the faster arms available, which is also good for someone like me who constantly mistimes animations :D

Flamethrower because I got used to it and just keep it. It has a low recovery so you can always block after using it.

I use Pandemonium.

Even without Advance, it procs pretty reliably, but the AoE lasts for an eternity and then some, making it pretty reliable for damage. The explosion is a bonus, and it's really good at cheesing enemies and bosses who get stuck on the environment.

The Black Rabbits were pretty easy with it.

For my full-advance build the only realistic options were Fulminis, Flamberge, and Pandemonium. Of those Pandemonium has been the most consistently useful.

If only we could customise the legion arms like we can do with weapons, I'd love an advance scaling Deus Ex Machina!

Puppet string x3 is the best choice for a high stamina guy with the 1 hand swords / spears build. Pretty quick and solid damage.

Pandemonium is my favorite. Used it with Laxasia phase 2. I threw it on the ground, stood on it, and waited for her to lightning slam onto me. I may have a hard time blocking that opener, but I'll be darned if she isn't decaying by the time she stands up :praisesun:

Falcon

I like the free damage.
It's very bad at 1st but with all the upgrade it's pretty good.
