Regarding Green Monster though, I found it to counter a lot of my usual tactics. I perfect guard as my main defense, and my weapon has a slow R2 with a short range. Imagine my surprise when the boss has an incredibly fast tentacle flail attack that inflicts Decay and is extremely difficult to perfect guard. It also guard breaks you if you try to block it.
I've since moved on and have accepted that sometimes it's just easier to use a Shot Put than to get mad about not being able to land my slow R2.
Oh, and use whatever tactic you want to clear the fights. It's whatever you find fun and works for you. They put the tools in the game for a reason, and it's your choice what you want to do.
No summons it is, then. I am somewhat of a masochist, and a proud one, to be sure.
I bet it was the Door Guardian. The most disappointing fight for me.
Yes, I'm a dum-dum, moving on.
no, it was the second black rabbit fight. For some reason I didn't enjoy that one. I almost forgot about the door guardian lol. Didn't really count him as a boss tbh.
Yeah the second I saw the flippy-dippy arm swings I was like 'Oh god not again, you're making me do this but with decay instead?'
It took me a few tries but in retrospect it's one of the tamer bosses just because it's so cripplingly weak to fire in the first phase and its fury attack charge in the second has such an absolutely colossal amount of endlag if you just run it out instead of trying to perfect block.
