why can you only buy one crank each?

I wanna change the scaling for my secondary weapon. I mean that weapon that i use for bosses mostly because its faster.

I dont have two weapons equipped usually because the guy is slow enough the way he is.

But i cant buy another crank. I found one and bought on. One i use on a weapon i dont use anymore.

But what now? Wait until you find another one? They seem to be quite rare. I found some others but bit those i need. Its a bit annoying.

You will find more. There are items that expand shops, random pickups throughout the world, and don't forget to go butterfly hunting when your light turns red. They are sparse at the start of the game and become less rare as you progress. With that being said, I wouldn't just specialize every weapon you pick up. They are a limited item in each playthrough from my understanding.

Also, if it's a particular blade you want, you can put it on your specialized handle, but that doesn't really solve your problem.

Later on you get the ability to buy a couple more. You can also find them in treasure chests and as loot drops from elite enemies.

Well so far i dont really have another weapon in mind. I leved motivity, but i actually use a small sword. Idst C/C and i changed it to motivity B with a crank. I could respec and change to technique but that would do nothing. It still would be B scaling.

I also dont really understand what is technique and what motivtiy. Not all weapons really seem to fit.

The big speer i found, which is a giant club levels with technique. So the next small sword i find, that might be good for me might level with motivitiy, god knowns ...

Motivity is Strength, and Technique is Dexterity.

And don't worry, scaling sometimes not making any sense is a common thing in these games. Reminds of "Duelist Greataxe" in Elden Ring - despite being in a "Colossal Weapon" category, it scales better with DEX by default. Why? Even Marika couldn't figure it out.

Activate the console with a mod and download a list of item ids. That's what I did, the limitation on cranks is stupid and pointless.
